“I greatly enjoyed visiting these businesses and presenting New York State Senate Empire Awards,” Sen. Griffo said. “These businesses, and the many others like them, have created jobs, spurred economic growth and development and have made many important contributions to their community and beyond.”
During his time in the Senate, Sen. Griffo has advocated for and supported the needs of business owners and employers throughout his Senate District and New York State.
“We have to do more in New York to improve the state’s economic climate and to make it more business-friendly,” Sen. Griffo said. “This can be accomplished by lowering taxes and energy costs and reducing regulations. I will continue to be a strong voice in Albany for taking such action and for our businesses so that they can grow, create jobs and be successful in New York State.”
